Trace fossils are geological records of biological activity and in this case may be a burrow or boring “Domichnia” which is a dwelling structures reflecting the life position of the organism that created it. The name given to this type of tube or burrow is “Skolithos” and may have been made by a worm-like organism. Specimen from the South Coast of NSW.
